"Extremely disappointed by the behaviour of Management. My daughter and 5 of her friend, received their Leaving Cert results today. They are a quite group of girls who worked very hard for their exams, and through all the stress over the last few months, they exhibited extremely mature attitudes and constraints. As a reward I booked them a table for a meal and one or two drinks tonight at the Establishment Steakhouse for 8pm. Imagine my disguised with Management when they arrived home 20 mins after the 8pm booking to tell me that they were told the Establishment was booked out and there was no table for them. No reason, explanation or apology was given to them. While they may be young, they at least desired this. Needless to say I am exceptionally vexed and disguised with the treatment they received and the manner in which this was dealt with. Their results night is a once in a life time event, they have missed out on enough of the special life events associated with their final school year this year. As there was a booking in my daughter’s name, I would like an explanation as to why they were turned away, what is the point in making a booking? What way is this to operate a business and deal with future customers? Do you not think these girls have endured enough this year? Do you think they desired this treatment and humiliation, yes humiliation as onlookers stood by and watched them being excluded from the restaurant for no apparent reason."
